My name is Hazel of Grimrunes.

My work is rooted in old Scandinavian folk magic, black book currents, archaeology, hidden practice, inherited practice, land-memory, and the understructures many modern practices have forgotten. Some of what I create is drawn from historical sources and old fragments. Some comes through inherited current, lived practice, and the forms the work has taken in my own hands over time.

I do not create these works to make the old ways pretty. I create them to make them speak again. 

This is only the beginning.
